Cleanliness & Cross Infection Control

This dental laboratory aims to operate a level of cleanliness, which satisfies and promotes good housekeeping polices to the mutual advantage of Laboratory members and customers alike. These procedures must be adhered to at all time to safeguard the customer, to protect the laboratory and ensure compliance with the current legislative requirements. It is the responsibility of every member in the Laboratory to be aware of the danger of cross infection and to take every precaution to prevent cross infection/contamination of our produce.

Receipt of Impressions

woman work in dental labOn receipt of an impression, the Lab ticket will be viewed to check for any stated product contamination, the general condition of the impression will be considered and should cleaning be required then it will be cleaned using a suitable method. It may be sprayed infection spray, immersed in a cleaning solution or other measure dependent upon the level of contamination.

In our laboratory we use Etkon™ es1 - digital laser technology, and Straumann's materials: Zerion, Coron, Ticon. Other materials and technology are: GC GRADIA family, composite system for indirect restorations such as crowns, bridges, inlays and veneers and all types of direct restorations.
Innovative IPS e.max Press lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2). The material is used to produce single-tooth restorations, bridges in the anterior and premolar region and implant superstructures.
Noritake Super Porcelain Ex-3, material to reproduction of the natural tooth color.
